Kevin Zollman

Our guest today is a game theorist, philosopher, and author who studies the evolution of language and the mathematics of social behavior.

He’s earned a Bachelor’s in Philosophy from Kansas State University as well as a Masters and Ph.D. in Philosophy from the Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science at the University of California, Irvine.

He’s a professor in the Department of Philosophy and Social and Decision Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University with a primary research focus on game theory, agent based modeling, and the philosophy of science.

And today he’s here to talk to us about the mathematical study of human strategy known as game theory.
